The applicant John is a poor fisherman who has wife and three little daughters to care for. His work is only seasonal and has no regular earnings to sustain his family. Moreover he is suffering from chronic ulcer and needs regular medication, which this poverty-stricken family cannot afford.
His wife Celine goes for domestic works in a nearby house to help her husband to meet their daily needs. She has to complete her household works in early morning and then go for work. Starvation is their constant companion and we could understand their daily miseries from the appearance of the family members. Both the couple and kids are victims of malnutrition and are very weak.
Their elder two daughters Mary Dilara and Tresa Harsha are attending regular school and youngest one Maria Meghna is going to the local kindergarten for learning alphabets.
John has a small fishing craft but no net and has to take net for rent. Now a day the catch from sea is not at all a dependable source for living but he has no other option.
This family has no land or house of their own. They are staying in a small single roomed house for rent. Often these poor parents cannot fulfill the daily necessities of life and they are in the fear of being vacated from their present shelter as they fail to pay the rent in time due to their daily miseries of survival. It is really heart provoking to see the struggle of this poor family. A kind help would redeem their miseries and enlighten their darkened life.
Any help given to them will be greatly appreciated. Kindly come forward to redeem them from the thralldom of penury, poverty, and loneliness and bodily ill health? May God bless the kind benefactor!
